Changes to market structure both in North America and Europe have altered the way that trading takes place and the way that data are disclosed and trades are reported. The WFE has been analyzing market fragmentation to see what impact on quality may arise in such areas as best execution, market surveillance. This meeting was open to WFE members and other exchanges. We welcomed speakers from the European Central Bank, the OECD, the Bank for International Settlements.
